If you are thinking of purchasing a holiday home in the Canary Islands, you must meet a series of legal requirements to obtain the license.
Decree 113/2015, which regulates holiday rentals in the Canary Islands, indicates that the following are recognised as tourist accommodation:
(…) the homes, which are furnished and equipped in conditions of immediate list of contact numbers in philippines use and meeting the requirements set forth in this Regulation, are marketed or promoted in tourist supply channels, to be temporarily and entirely transferred to third parties, on a regular basis, for the purposes of holiday accommodation and in exchange for a price.
*This Decree 113/2015 is partially annulled by the Supreme Court.
In addition, the horizontal property law must be taken into account, which establishes that a property can only be exploited as a holiday rental as long as it is not expressly prohibited in the statutes of the Community of Owners.
