What is the National Debt Register – KRD?

Each of us has encountered the term KRD – National Debt Register. It is a company operating under the Act on the provision of information and exchange of economic data, which has been operating on our market since 2003. Its statutory tasks include receiving, archiving and providing information and economic data regarding debts and receivables. The register is available to everyone via the Internet, thanks to which we have access to it without time or territorial restrictions.

The scheme of this institution is quite simple . In the event of no reaction, it adds them to the list and sends information about it.

It also significantly hinders taking out further loans, prevents purchases in installments, or simply interferes with running a business. It is therefore a significant impulse to settle overdue debts as soon as possible. The activity of the National Debt Register also makes it much easier for consumers and companies that are just about to start cooperation or grant a loan to a given entity - anyone can check a given person or company on it, which results in greater security of concluded contracts. In case of doubts, you can also ask for monitoring of a given entity - then you do not have to check all contractors regularly, and information about their financial problems will be received directly from the KRD. Therefore, the lack of entry on the list of debtors increases the chance of receiving a credit or loan.

payday loanIn 2008, KRD belongs to the Conference of Financial Enterprises . The president of the board of the National Debt Register became a member of the KPF Committee. Currently, KRD can boast of obtaining ISO 9001:2008 certificates and meeting the conditions for obtaining the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standard.
In research conducted in 2013, more than half of the respondents confirmed their knowledge of the institution, recognizing KRD as the National Debt Register.
