The use of Twitter in Spain still has a long way to go…

Post by sohanuzzaman56 »

We continue talking about Twitter , the most powerful 2.0 communication tool today (a free definition by the author). Its personal, professional, corporate, informative, educational uses are curious... The uses/utilities it offers us seem endless. One of the news of the week has been that, worldwide, 50 million tweets a day have already been reached . I see no reason not to take this into account, especially considering the degree of inclination that this rapid growth implies.

Tweets per Day

Getting a little closer to the Spanish environment, I am posting an ig data interesting graph that I received yesterday by email from Claudio Bravo [via BytePR ] about Twitter Popularity by country:

Twitter Popularity

At the moment, we only represent 0.78% of all Twitter users. At the moment. Because the growth potential is so huge (not only in Spain) that we will soon see these figures much more equal to those in the US or the UK.

One of the first barriers to using Twitter may be its very definition. For companies or people who are not used to the medium, the 140-character philosophy is still not entirely clear… But what is it really for ? Can we have a professional account and a personal one ? Are my clients using this ? (…) Many of these questions can be heard today, in very different sectors.

Inevitably, the change in mindset will be gradual and, hopefully, all these questions will disappear. This will mean that you have understood the potential conversation you can have with colleagues, clients, businesses, brands, journalists, politicians…

Its own claim could not be more accurate: "Share and discover what's happening right now, anywhere in the world"
