Scientific expertise, creativity and the enthusiasm of the children were on our side.

So my husband gets in touch with the communications office of his organization, the INFN, which sponsors us.

The project “ Physics among the Waves ” is born, a series of scientific and environmental dissemination conducted by our children .

The first 10 episodes were about energy sustainability , the second series on: “What are cosmic rays?” .

It became a success, so much so that it was also broadcast on Rai Gulp.

Later, “ Shibumi floating lab ” was born and our houseboat became a floating laboratory where scientific and environmental projects converge.

Some of these were developed in collaboration with the CNR-ISMAR marine science institute.

Over time, our content began to interest many people and we began to organize interventions in schools , interviews with biologists , new projects on the state of the sea and microplastics.

Added to this were my speeches at the Catholic University , where I did not talk about science but about planning, that is, how we set up a project of this type.

Online meetings for team building , failure management and requests for motivational help have also started .

The social following of the project, which I had followed since day one without great expectations but only with the desire to share something special, began to grow.

And so the months pass, light, fast and productive.

At the “free for all” signal , however, we didn’t need to be told twice. In August 2021, we leave the Balearics to enter the Atlantic Ocean.
