Guide: How to Test Landing Pages When One of the Options Is a Quiz

VS Quiz website - check it on Google Optimize
At aberix, we love quick tests to avoid drowning in the swamp of low conversion, so we offer clients either quizzes and launch in a couple of days, or landing pages on Tilda and launch in a couple of weeks.

Why run an A/B test instead of just switching traffic from the old landing page to the new one?

Reduce risk. Experiments are not always about successful success and growth. Sometimes they lead to the exact opposite result: the original version converted better. If you switch all traffic to the new singapore phone number list version, you can significantly decrease conversions and hurt the business.
Increase reliability. If you run both versions simultaneously and simply distribute traffic randomly, that's good. If you run them sequentially, the data may be distorted: the season, competitive environment, traffic quality, etc. have changed - that's bad.
A free solution for A/B testing is Google Optimize. How the service helps us organize this kitchen:

we set the goal of the experiment - for us this is the conversion rate into a lead, where the percentage is higher, the landing page copes better;
we set up traffic distribution conditions - for example, we take only advertising traffic and divide it in half, 50% goes to the original landing page version, 50% to the new one.
Optimize automatically determines when statistical significance occurs, and the experiment can be considered successful and a conclusion can be made: whether the new variant has surpassed the original one or not.
