What is the WordPress Media Library?

When you upload an image to WordPress, the platform automatically generates multiple variations of different sizes, including a miniature (or thumbnail) version. So you can choose which image size to use in your posts and pages.

You can preview your changes in the left window and save them by clicking the corresponding button . Keep in mind that WordPress's built-in image editor is a very simple tool.
