Rosenergoatom Concern has allocated 20 million rubles for the implementation of these measures.

The Smart City platform has been implemented in Polyarnye Zori since 2019. The portal contains digital city services that are displayed on an interactive map. With their help, residents can leave online requests about problems in the urban environment and monitor the status of their implementation, determine which police station and electoral district the house belongs to, find out the contact information of the local police officer or district deputy. As part of the implementation of the current project, the software modules of the Smart Polyarnye Zori platform and the mobile application will be updated to the latest version.

"We pay great attention to the dialogue with residents. The development of feedback channels using the Smart City platform helps to learn about the problems of citizens faster, reduce the time of execution of citizens' requests. Understanding the benefits of digital technology, we want to develop the project and cover the most important areas. And, of course, the centralized video surveillance system will expand the range of controlled threats to the city, increase the effectiveness of response when implementing measures for their emergency prevention and elimination," said Maxim Pukhov, head of the city of Polyarnye Zori.

The "Video Surveillance" module integrates work with a video archive, will allow georeferencing of city cameras and access to them from a single window. The centralized system will help improve the coordination of operational interaction of duty officers, dispatchers, city services by creating a single information space. The system is based on technical solutions tested by Russian law enforcement agencies that comply with current regulatory and legal documentation.

"Polyarnye Zori was one of the first "smart" cities. That is why we began implementing the "Smart City" project. The digital technologies being introduced for urban security are a continuation of our work in this direction. We are glad that our solutions have become reliable assistants in the development of cities," said RIR General Director Ksenia Sukhotina.

"Our entire team strives for a systemic approach to the development of nuclear cities. The Rosatom Smart Cities project is one of the effective mechanisms in this direction. It improves the technological efficiency of urban infrastructure and the quality of municipal resource management. The introduction of a new module in Polyarnye Zori is an important step towards creating a comfortable and safe environment in the city," commented Svetlana Churilova, Director of the Department for Work with Regions and Government Authorities of the Rosenergoatom Concern.
