Daily Routine of a Community Manager

Post by aminaas1576 »

The term itself came from the gaming industry. And in social networks, I believe, a community manager grew out of an administrator. Or rather, not so. It combines elements of an admin, a content manager, and a community manager. At least, that's how it turned out for me.

When I was working with communities on VKontakte, at some point I lost interest in just writing and posting. I wanted to communicate with the people in the group. Find out what they thought about the issues I was raising, about the product we were selling. And we were selling manicure vacuum cleaners.

And I, in some absolutely natural way, found myself in the comments under the posts. I asked questions to the masters, expressed my opinion, especially if the topic was not narrow, but from the area of general knowledge. Even the admin can share his experience about manicure)))

The main responsibility of a community manager, in my opinion, is to make sure that people are interested in the community, want to participate in discussions, in activities. Not only because they announced italy email list some kind of competition with a prize fund, but also simply created conditions for exchanging experiences and talking about life.

Not all spaces are conducive to this, to be honest. But over the last year I have seen a clear trend - people want to talk. About their profession, about their successes, to whine, and to have heart-to-heart talks.

And, for example, in "Marketing from the Basics" we create conditions for this. On Mondays, participants share their successes or failures, and on Fridays they flood from the heart, under the posts allocated for this. The task of the community manager is to be there.

Support, if there is a request, show that the person is noticeable, his comment is not an empty phrase, respond with words, meaningfully.
