Google Sheets: A Complete Guide to Using the Tool

Post by hasibaakterss3309 »

There are two tools for working with filters: "Create Filter" and "Filtering Modes". When using the first one, all users who have access to the document will see the data sorting. If you only need the filter and you do not want it to disturb your colleagues, use the tool "Filtering Modes" → "Create New Filter".

Once you've created a filter, an inverted triangle japan telegram database icon made of lines will appear next to the selected ranges.

By clicking on it, you can set rules for filtering data. For example, show only cells with a certain value.

Slices
A slice is used to display summary information for a range. It is convenient to use when there is a lot of different information in the table and you need to summarize everything briefly.

The tool is connected via the “Data” tab → “Add slice”.
