SEO Optimization Strategies for Anchor Texts

Post by arafatenzo »

In addition to the 4 excellent tips that Google invites us to use, I want to recommend others to avoid falling into the trap and avoiding SEO penalties. Personally, I take into account some factors both for the choice of the type of anchor to use (see the list above), and for the choice of follow and nofollow ( difference between follow and nofollow ).

Factor 1: Anchor Text Profile
The first factor to take into consideration is poland phone number undoubtedly starting from the backlink profile of a website. The SEMrush suite helps us a lot in this because it has a very useful tool that analyzes the entire backlink profile of a domain: Backlink Analysis .

With this tool alone we can understand where to act and what room for maneuver we have.

SEMrush anchor backlink analysis
The "Anchor" tab shows us which are the main textual anchors that connect external sites to ours. If we notice a percentage that is too high for a key, we must try to reduce its distribution. One way to do this is to use more generic anchors, or synonyms, but if we don't want to risk it, we can consider using the Brand key.

I usually evaluate this consideration based on the relevance of the content, but we'll talk about that in point 3.

Factor 2: Backlink Profile
The "Backlink" tab shows an overview of the attributes and types of links. We need to understand what percentage of links we receive are follow and nofollow. Why? Because it is quite unnatural for a backlink profile to be completely follow and Google knows this. So be smart and don't take any risks.

Often having nofollow links that "dirty" the backlink profile helps to not raise too much attention. I know it seems absurd, but a perfect link profile is dangerous!
