Core Web Vitals and user experience
The concept of Core Web Vitals attempts to move beyond the idea of simply improving page loading speed to a comprehensive concept of user experience .
Observing this data on Search Console is an essential step. Today this is possible thanks to a report that works by groups of URLs and allows you to monitor:
LCP : Time to display the largest element of the area you are trying to load. Usually this is an image or video. Largest Contentful Paint is considered a decisive element in analyzing page load times.
RPI : time that passes between the first interaction with philippines business email list the page and the moment in which the browser responds. In practice, we try to understand when a web page becomes truly interactive and useful for the purposes of user satisfaction. So, let's go beyond the simple concept of loading speed.
CLS : Cumulative Layout Variation, how the layout of the page changes during loading. An even more interesting concept that shows how Google tries to overcome the idea of a web page that is only fast. It must also be clear and its loading must not confuse the user.
If you find issues with Core Web Vitals values for some URLs you can go to Pagespeed Insight or Lighthouse for in-depth analysis to resolve the points. Remember that from 2021 the Core Web Vitals parameters will be included among the ranking factors, so it will be even more important to monitor these points via Search Console.
