Recently, Yangyuan Drinks, the parent company of Six Walnuts, released its semi-annual report. The total revenue declined year-on-year, which aroused doubts from the outside world. Is Six Walnuts not selling well?

The financial report shows that in the first half of this year, Yangyuan Beverage achieved a total revenue of approximately 2.942 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.02%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was approximately 1.03 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.97%.

At the same time, Yangyuan Beverage's net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was approximately RMB 775 million, an increase of 8.23% year-on-year. It can be seen that compared with last year, although Yangyuan Beverage's total revenue has decreased, the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company has increased.

As for the reason for the decline in total revenue, Yangyuan Drinks stated in its financial report that it was mainly caused by the decline in market consumption demand. Although Yangyuan Drinks did not disclose the reason for the year-on-year increase in net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies, the outside world speculated based on its financial report that the decline in total revenue and the increase in net profit may be due to the reduction of various costs. The financial report shows that in the first half of this year, except for the year-on-year increase in R&D expenses, Yangyuan Drinks' sales expenses and administrative expenses have all decreased compared with last year, but the change ratio does not exceed 10%.
