As optimizers, we understood how Google scans and indexes a site: follows links, selects the main mirror of the site.

Additionally, we studied information on foreign forums, since there are almost no such cases on Russian-language forums. There we read that it is possible to get out from under sanctions if you change the main mirror without a 301 redirect. We decided to try this option.

We needed:

1. Remove the site from Google search results, but do not damage the line data ranking in Yandex.

2. Change mirrors in Yandex.

3. Start indexing from scratch of a new mirror in Google.

We understood the risks. The site could lose traffic in Yandex and the rest of the traffic in Google, even the crumbs that were there. Therefore, first of all, we had to make sure that when we got out from under sanctions, we would not be blocked again for the same thing. Therefore, we simultaneously corrected errors on the site and implemented a plan to change the mirror.

We chose an address with WWW as a new mirror (before that, the main mirror was a domain without WWW). In fact, the site was moving from u. Moreover, the move in Yandex had to be carried out according to its rules in order to maintain positions and traffic.
