Error detection and website audit

Post by mehadihasan123456 »

First, we audited the site and compiled a list of 108 errors. Here are the main ones:

Narrow structure relative to competitors. The site has 5,000 products, but there were few category pages for popular user queries. For example, 10,000 people were looking for leather sofas, but there was no page with leather sofas on the site.
Technical errors - duplicate pages, broken links, excessive redirects.
Lack of text descriptions of categories.
Poor optimization of landing pages. The pages had automatic titles that line data did not cover key queries and did not use commercial markers, such as price. There was no text on the pages.
We described recommendations for the content of typical pages and collected a semantic core, which contained more than 10,000 queries. We analyzed competitors and prepared a content plan, what texts need to be written for pages based on user queries.

First of all, it was necessary to deal with these tasks:

Get rid of technical duplicate pages on the site.
Implement automatic title and description for listing pages and product cards.
Write texts for listing pages for the most popular products.
Perform manual optimization of pages that are a priority for the client.
To advance in the regions, prepare recommendations for creating website subdomains.
After working with meta tags, we reversed the negative trend, traffic stopped decreasing compared to last year. And in addition, we improved the visibility of the site for low-frequency queries.

We will tell you about the most important improvements.
