There are skills that are not normally taught in school and, often, are not developed at home, with family or friends, but which prove to be crucial for professional life. I believe that, in the near future, these skills will be crucial in determining the success of all professions.
A few years ago, my youngest daughter asked me why she would ever need the subject of citizenship, recently introduced into the school curriculum. I believe that, one day, education, through subjects linked to citizenship, will provide new learning that will be useful in the world of work, such as exposure to new and adverse situations, good communication and the ability to give positive feedback .
