When using EDI, you need to know that from February 5, 2025, amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation will come into force, which concern the exchange of electronic documents with the tax service.

Now taxpayers do not need to send a receipt for accepted requests in response to an electronic message from the Federal Tax Service. The fact of receiving requests for documents, explanations or notifications of a call from the Federal Tax Service will be confirmed by records with the electronic document management operator. However, this requirement remains in effect until 05.02.2025. This must be taken into account in order to avoid blocking transactions on the current account.

Article 31 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation establish a specific period after which the document sent by the tax service is considered received by the taxpayer.
