Who is required to pay taxes in Colombia?

Both natural and legal persons are required to pay taxes in Colombia , including companies, merchants , employees, independent workers and anyone who generates income within the country, provided they meet certain criteria established by law. This includes:

Natural persons who obtain income from any source, such as salaries, capital gains, dividends, etc.
Natural or legal persons who reside or not in the country and who carry out activities in Colombia.
Legal entities and companies.
Foreign companies and entities that have a presence in Colombia.
