In the network of networks advocated by Web3, all systems and processes should be channeled through distributed ledger technologies , fundamentally blockchain, which is a concatenated sequence of data blocks that is 100% transparent and not subject to any changes. In blockchain technology , data is stored in a decentralized manner by those involved (and therefore cannot be hacked).

If Web3 eventually succeeds in establishing itself on the network of networks, the iran number data current gatekeepers (Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok and company) would inevitably lose relevance and give way to so-called DAOs, decentralized autonomous organizations.

The revolution brought about by Web3 is of absolutely cyclopean dimensions because it would completely change the rules of the game and everyone who works on the Internet (even if they are new) would have the same opportunities to prosper (without fear of being trampled on by Google and Facebook with impunity).

Web3 carries quite a few cons on its shoulders
However, not everything is rosy in the Web3 universe, which is burdened by no small number of image problems. Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies (which are a key part of this new generation ecosystem) have not yet proven to be completely safe currencies that are immune to manipulation by central banks . Cryptocurrencies not only play a leading role in organised crime but are also subject to violent price fluctuations (mostly downwards in recent times). Bitcoin, for example, surpassed the $70,000 barrier last autumn and this summer its value was barely above $20,000. There has been speculation for some time in the financial markets about a possible end to the cryptocurrency boom.

Furthermore, although Web3 is by no means a new concept, it is also an idea that is difficult for many Internet users to grasp . Furthermore, there are currently few projects beyond the technological field where the Web3 philosophy has taken root in the B2B and B2C markets.

Much of the hype surrounding projects imbued with the Web3 philosophy has eventually faded . A few years ago, there was a lively debate about the eventual migration of the programmatic advertising industry to blockchain technology. However, nothing really concrete emerged from that debate.
