How to Find the Most Valuable Keywords for Your Business After this rant, let's get back to the initial question. In the following example I will show you the step by step process to find the most valuable keywords for your business using Power BI: Step 1 - Retrieve three sets of data from Google Analytics and Google Search Console We want to merge Google Ads search query data with Google Search Console data.

The idea is that if we can identify paid search queries that are driving transactions, we can look at our organic ranking keywords to look for opportunities. First, let's download the last 12 months of search queries from our Google Ads account.

Make sure to sort them by self employed phone number list revenue. In the example below, I pulled 2,000 search queries that generated transactions this year. Second, we download the last 12 months of data from Google Search Console.

If you pull the data directly from Google Search Console, you only get 999 rows of search queries. It's not enough. To get more data you can use the API, but I use another method.

To get all the search queries, you need to get the Google Sheets add-on called Search Analytics for Sheets. We connect it to our Google Search Console account and we can request all the queries for the last 12 months.
