Online sales and delivery mark the new reality for companies

According to research by Boa Vista, 69% of the actions implemented during the pandemic will be permanent for the business regardless of the crisis.
Apps and social networks have become crucial in the last three months. In total, 83% of the companies surveyed stated that they are using these tools to increase sales. This is demonstrated by a survey conducted by Boa Vista in June, which interviewed 1,260 businesspeople from the industry, commerce and services sectors throughout Brazil.
Since the crisis began, 45% of companies have sought to 99 acres database to the new reality and 69% say that the actions taken will be permanent in the future. Initiatives implemented in light of the current scenario include online sales and delivery. In the industrial sector, as well as in medium and large companies, home office stands out as an action for “adaptation and survival”, and consequent cost reduction.
Another important fact is that 47% of business owners looked for new technologies that would bring in more customers, but at the same time 62% are still looking for solutions to reduce defaults. As for opportunities generated during the crisis, only 16% of companies say they have obtained some advantage for their business.
The survey carried out by Boa Vista also found that 88% of the country's businesspeople expect to return to a normal pace only in the long term, meaning that results should start to appear at the end of 2021. And 68% of companies still require support to survive and 85% are eager to obtain credit with less bureaucracy.

The survey 'Current picture of business, access to support programs for entrepreneurs and prospects for recovery' was conducted by Boa Vista in June, with 1,260 entrepreneurs, representatives of the commerce, industry and services sectors, from all regions of Brazil.
