We are surrounded by technology, right? But is it helping or hindering businesses? How can it help your business grow?

Technology was the theme of the 3rd Entrepreneurial Night , which took place at Cubo and featured a group of important guests: Paulo Siqueira (Caelum Group), Rodrigo Dantas (Vindi), Camilla Lopes (Mediação Online) and Omar Ajame (TEx). The interviews were conducted by Hubify founders Caio Sigaki and Fabio Duran , and brothers Leandro and Léo Campos ( Synapse Business ).

The event was divided into three parts, starting with a guided travel agency email list networking exercise, and two panels with guests sharing important reflections and lessons they had on their journeys to make their businesses scalable and successful .

I have separated the main insights I gained during the event in this article.

For those of you who didn't have the opportunity to go, or would like a summary of the night, check it out!

Oriented Networking
Networking guided at the Entrepreneurial Night

To kick off the Entrepreneurial Night, brothers Leandro and Léo Campos proposed an exercise to the audience. In it, participants were instructed to open up and share information about themselves and their businesses.

The topics covered in groups were:

Who am I?
What do I do?
What solution do I offer?
What am I looking for here?
oriented networking

The exercise, in addition to helping people get to know each other and interacting, was intended to train them to speak and listen to others . Communication is extremely important in any segment in which a startup is starting and is one of the keys to success, as we will see later.

At the previous event, some participants took the opportunity to close deals during the exercise and there is an expectation that this will happen again.

Panel 1 - Like a Boss

The guests on the first panel were Paulo Silveira and Rodrigo Dantas , interviewed by Leandro Campos and Caio Sigaki.

Paulo Silveira holds a bachelor's and master's degree in computing from USP, is CEO of Grupo Caelum and is a podcaster at Hipsters Ponto Tech and Like a Boss , where he answers questions about technology, programming and entrepreneurship. The idea for the podcast began with an online forum for technicians, which is still the largest programming forum in Brazil.
