Once activated, go to the Tools » Import page in your WordPress dashboard. There you will see a list of import tools available for your WordPress installation. Click the “Run Importer” link under the Joomla Import Tool (FG).
This page displays all necessary database information, such as the database user name, the database name, the database table prefix, etc.
The only information that is not displayed is the database password. If you cannot remember your Joomla database password, you can find it in the file configuration.phpin the root directory of your Joomla website.
You can access this file by connecting to your website with an FTP client and opening it in a text editor such as Notepad.
After you have entered your database information into the Joomla importer, click the “Test Database Connection” button. If everything is entered correctly, you will receive a success message.
