In St. Petersburg, the introduction of robots to optimize processes in the work of the city's executive authorities continues. Due to solutions based on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology, in 2023 the volume of routine work of employees decreased by 150 thousand man-hours, and in 2024 the development of the robotization process will increase this figure several times more.
Robotization of document brazil whatsapp number database processing in the government of St. Petersburg began in 2022 as part of the "Efficient Region" program, with the support of experts from Rosatom State Corporation and the development team of the city's information and analytical center.
By the end of 2023, software robots were integrated into 48 processes in 19 executive authorities, such as the finance committee, housing committee, state procurement committee, a number of district administrations, etc. Robotic systems take on algorithmic actions, process information many times faster than humans, and do not make mistakes.
One of the leaders in robotization based on the results of last year was the Finance Committee. Five robots are integrated into its work, which are engaged in the verification of a number of documents. Every day, tasks related to all government bodies and subordinate institutions flow into the Finance Committee. This is a huge volume of documentation, amounting to 5 thousand to 8 thousand applications daily. The main part of the work on their verification is now performed by robots around the clock, and employees take on more qualified work.
Petersburg has implemented one of the most potentially effective robots, as its process is relevant for other administrations as well. The robot helps prepare data for reports on fuel and energy resource and water consumption limits. Previously, reporting preparation could take up to 73 days, now, thanks to the software robot, it takes no more than 37 days. The time it takes for specialists to prepare information has been reduced from 20 to 7 days. In addition, the number of operations performed at different stages of document preparation has been reduced.
The housing committee uses a software robot to make quarterly changes to the database used to run the regional capital repair program. Changes may concern street names, repair deadlines, the period for preparing project documentation, adding new addresses to the program, etc. The volume of changes can reach 10,000 lines. Previously, an employee would complete this work within two weeks; now the robot completes this work in 24 hours.
"Routine operations in the work of executive authorities are an inevitable part of the work. Tens of thousands of hours of qualified employees are spent on checking forms, filling out tables, and double-entering data. At the same time, modern digital technologies allow us not to waste time and knowledge of professionals on this, but to use the capabilities of software robots. The math here is simple: in 2023, we spent 2,500 man-hours of developers' work on creating and implementing robots, freeing up about 150,000 man-hours in government bodies as a result. In 2024, we plan to continue this work and increase the figure by another 4 times," commented Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Stanislav Kazarin.
