Signs of informational search queries

When users enter informational search queries, their intent is to find an answer , but not on just any website, but on any website on the Internet, regardless of region. "I want to find a website with useful information, and I don't care where it's hosted."
Most often, information queries are geo-independent . That is, the search engine does not take into account the user's geolocation.
Information requests are entered by people who have not yet realized what they need or do not know how to solve their problem. That is why they go to search with questions like "how...", "what is...", "why do you need...". Usually, this is the top of the sales funnel , that is, very cold traffic in terms of conversions.

Both Yandex and Google understand that at this stage the user is not yet ready to buy. It is obvious that informational pages — blogs with articles — should be promoted for informational queries. The user has not yet moved on to the stage of choosing a product supplier.
