The Internal Revenue Service (SII) recently announced a change in the way Value Added Tax (VAT) is declared, which will be done online starting this month. These changes are contained in Resolution No. 61.

We know that these changes always cause concern, so we want to avoid future headaches and help you in this transition.

Invoice acceptance times
Any invoice that does not have an acceptance made before the last day of the month at 11:59 p.m. will not be added to the registry and therefore, cannot be used as a tax credit until the following month.

After 8 days of receiving an invoice, it is automatically botim database accepted in the SII, so no additional action is necessary. I do have to worry about invoices received during the last 8 days of the month (because if I don't accept them, they will be automatically accepted the following month).
