How does LGM recover personal email?

Well, it's actually quite simple; Growth Machine can retrieve your lead's personal email only if you are connected with them on LinkedIn.
Statistically, about 80% of people will share their personal email when you're connected with them. They don't do this intentionally, it's just how LinkedIn's settings work, unless a person specifies otherwise (in this case, about 20% of people do).
When it comes to LGM, we automatically retrieve it. As soon as we see that you are already connected, the tool retrieves it.
Additionally, as soon as you connect to the lead - as part of your campaign - the tool uses enrichment to recover it.

This means that as a recruiting strategy, if you want to use your candidates' personal vp communication officers email list emails, you need to optimize your acceptance rate as much as possible.
And that leads to a number of questions; in particular, whether or not you should include a note in your LinkedIn connection requests.
We don't actually have any data on this, and you can go either way.
On the one hand, you can include a note and have a more direct approach, but you risk missing personal emails for a follow-up because the contact knows the reason they are reaching out and you are not interested.
On the other hand, you don't put any notes and the lead doesn't know why you're talking to them, which can result in a high acceptance rate, but a low qualification rate.
That said, if the person is exploring the market for a new opportunity and sees a talent recruiter listed in their invitations, they are sure to be interested.
That's why you need to work on your bio and your general LinkedIn profile, because it will come into play!
Addressing GDPR concerns:
Let’s address the elephant in the room, is what we are doing GDPR compliant?
As far as the Data Protection Act is concerned, LGM does not share data. Ever.
So, if you manage to get the personal email through LGM, it is only because the lead shared it with you - through your LinkedIn profile .

In fact, it allows you to quickly (and adequately) answer the question.
How did you get my email/phone number?
FYI: Those are the two pieces of personal data you have access to if you are connected to someone on LinkedIn.
Simply tell them that you are connected on LinkedIn and that you believe this is a legitimate use of their contact information since you are in contact with them.
Boom! Situation defused.
